Raj received the miss universe Sushmitha Sen Award for Best Professional Makeup Artist in Bengaluru. He has conducted numerous makeup seminars and workshops in South India as a makeup trainer. has received training from Ms. Verginea Holmes, one of India's top makeup artists, who is from the UK. He worked as an SFX makeup artist in South Indian movies, using brands like Krylon, MAC, inglot, Huda Beauty, Ben Nye, Bobby Brown, Temptu, and PAC. He is a makeup artist for TV programs like Siri on Udaya TV. He oversees operations at one of the Reborn Beauty female salons.
